An agreement on the international accreditation of four educational programs has been signed between the University of International Business and the Austrian Quality Agency (AQA).
2010 year
Preparation of Doctors of Business Administration
The University of International Business has been granted the right to prepare Doctors of Business Administration (DBA). The University of International Business was accredited by the Independent Kazakhstan Agency for Quality Assurance in Education (NCAOKO) for a period of 5 years
2009 year
Anniversary book about UIB
The presentation of the anniversary book about UIB “15 years of creation and success” took place, which reflects the work of all structural divisions, student life and significant dates that have left a deep mark over the 15 years of the University of International Business. By the decision of the UIB Academic Council dated 05/20/08, a program for the preparation of PhD doctors in Economics, Management, Finance was launched.

Agreement with Microsoft Kazakhstan
The University of International Business has signed an agreement with Microsoft Kazakhstan Corporation on cooperation in the creation, operation and development of information computer systems based on the latest technologies and software products of the corporation.

Representatives of Kazakhstan at the SIFE WORLD CUP
The SIFE UIB team won a worthy and long-awaited victory at Regional and then National SIFE competitions and received the right to represent Kazakhstan at the SIFE WORLD CUP 2006 in France (Paris)

State certification
The University of International Business has passed the state certification (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 217 dated March 17, 2004)
2002 year
Perpetual state license
The University of International Business was granted an indefinite state license by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (dated February 5, 2002).
2001 year
Renaming the school
Having reached a new stage of its development, the School was renamed the University of International Business.
2000 year
Evening MBA Program
The school has opened an evening MBA program designed in accordance with the requirements of the best business schools in developed countries.
1999 year
School certification
The school has been certified by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as a result of which the status of educational programs as conforming to state standards has been confirmed.
1997 year
Training of accountants according to new standards
The school was one of the first in Kazakhstan to train accountants according to new accounting standards. More than 1,000 accountants, tax inspectors, and economists have been trained in these courses.
1993 year
School Transformation
The school at “КазГАУ” has been transformed into a separate higher educational institution — the School of International Business.
1992 year
The "КазГАУ" Republican Business School division was created
A division of the Kazakh State Academy of Management (КазГАУ) was created with the participation of IBM Corporation, called the Republican School of Business.
