The Foreign language: two foreign languages in UIB is:
Training of highly qualified specialists in the field of foreign language education, who have fundamental knowledge and modern competencies that are in demand at the international level, who can generate new knowledge for practical use in scientific and pedagogical activities.
The purpose of the educational program Foreign language: two foreign languages:
The programme has been designed for English language teachers with varying levels of professional experience, from teachers who have less than two years experience to those who have taught for many years.
Training specialists with scientific knowledge in the field of linguistics, intercultural communication, methodology of teaching foreign languages, possessing research skills, ready for scientific and pedagogical activities at all levels and stages of education.
- Interpret the theoretical foundations of foreign language teaching, pedagogy, psychology, and assessment.
- Apply foreign language teaching methods at different levels of learning.
- Use foreign languages for effective oral and written communication, including for scientific research.
- Possess the skills to collect and interpret information in accordance with scientific ethics.
- Analyze historical and philosophical approaches to the scientific method.
- Compare leadership approaches and styles in educational settings, taking into account psychological and social factors that influence leadership effectiveness.
- Analyze scientific texts in a foreign language.
- Evaluate learning outcomes according to strategies and methods for measuring knowledge, skills and competencies.
- Develop assessment strategies, including selecting, scoring, and interpreting educational assessments.
- Develop educational programs and training materials.
