EP purpose:
The purpose of the EP is to train in-demand specialists who are able to develop and apply artificial intelligence to solve scientific, technical and applied problems.
Educational outcome:
- Independently develop professional competencies, speak kazakh, russian and foreign languages to work in an international environment, conduct scientific research and develop innovative solutions in the field of artificial intelligence.
- Be able to apply artificial intelligence methods to solve social problems and improve the quality of life, analyze the ethical, legal and anti-corruption aspects of AI application, as well as take into account the fundamentals of law, ecology and life safety when developing projects. Develop AI systems aimed at sustainable development and public well-being.
- Be able to use modern methods of analysis, modeling, design of architectures of systems and networks, mobile applications, programming languages to ensure the operation of information systems.
- Develop logical thinking, apply mathematical modeling and analysis methods to solve professional problems, and possess basic theoretical and practical knowledge of physics in the field of IT.
- Know the basics of economics, patterns of market economy development and possess personal finance management skills for business development.
- Organize teamwork and project management for the development of AI solutions; apply AI standards, identify user needs, and create a package of intelligent systems project documents.
- Be able to use cloud technologies, networks, OS, DBMS and Big Data in their professional activities, apply AI and deep learning methods, and ensure the information security of systems and networks.
- Know the basics of theory, methods and algorithms of artificial intelligence, machine learning, neural networks, IoT technologies, search algorithms, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision.
