Training of highly qualified specialists with extensive knowledge in the field of IT technologies, possessing theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of pedagogy, having skills in using modern information systems in all sectors of the country’s economy, able to respond to frequent changes in information technology, able to work professionally and independently in the process of applying conceptual knowledge and skills in design, development and implementation information systems. And also be able to conduct scientific research.
- To be able to independently improve professional skills during the entire period of activity, speak foreign languages in the professional sphere at a level that allows working in an international environment.
- To plan, develop and implement a research process; to analyze critically, evaluate and compare traditional and new ideas on the basis of modern teaching methods in the conditions of functioning of the worldwide information network.
- To use modeling technologies; to present the model in mathematical and algorithmic forms; to evaluate the quality of the model; to show the theoretical basis of the model; to conduct statistical modeling of systems; to simulate the processes occurring in information systems and networks.
- To apply methods, approaches of collecting and controlling the quality of information in designing the information systems and technology.
- To work effectively individually and in a team, to show sociability and psychological preparedness in practical activities in the specialty, in working with specialists from related industries, to make managerial and technical decisions. To show leadership qualities and initiative in solving urgent production and technological, research, design and environmental-economic problems.
- Know the trends of social development of society, ethical and spiritual values, social norms and focus on them in their professional activities, have the skills to handle modern technology, be able to use information technology in the field of educational activities.
- To use architectural and detailed solutions to design systems; to apply modern information technologies in the designing of information systems.
- To know the basic models and means of knowledge representation, syntax and semantics of the main artificial intelligence languages, and basic programming techniques on them, new methods for solving traditional problems developed in the programming paradigm in constraints, as well as in the framework of evolutionary and neural network approaches.

Training of scientific, pedagogical and managerial personnel with practical skills in the introduction and use of modern IT technologies, including methods of obtaining, processing and storing scientific information. Able to formulate and solve modern scientific and practical problems. Plan and conduct experimental research activities in the chosen scientific specialty, have the skills to conduct teaching activities in universities and successfully carry out research and management activities.
