The Department of Business Informatics provides training at 2 levels – Bachelor’s and Master’s degree
The Department of Business Informatics is an educational, scientific and administrative structural unit of the University of International Business, which provides education for students in bachelor’s and master’s degree programs
The education is conducted in the state (Kazakh), Russian and English languages.
All teachers at the department have a basic education relevant to the disciplines. Classes are conducted in accordance with the State Mandatory Standards of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on the basis of standard and working syllabus, in accordance with standard and working programs in the disciplines being read. Teachers are constantly improving their skills at seminars, courses, firms and companies, as well as the Training, Retraining and Advanced Training Center for employees of the Financial System of the Republic of Kazakhstan, UIB.
The personnel potential of the department is 32 teachers, including 7 PhD, 8 candidates of sciences.
Objectives of the department:
— Training of highly qualified professionals who possess the skills to extract knowledge using new information technologies in a changing world and using them in practical professional activities, actively influencing the socio-economic development of Kazakhstan;
– Training of specialists who are competent, motivated and experienced members and leaders of systems design and development teams, able to work professionally and independently in the process of applying conceptual knowledge and skills in the design, development and implementation of information systems.
The Department of Business Informatics has signed an agreement with SP Cloud Technologies, where students of the department will be able to study under the program “Preparing students to take the exam for the international certification of Amazon Web Services (AWS)”.
