"International relations" in UIB is:
Training of a professional employee for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, analysts on the problem of international relations, competitive in the labor market, in demand by government agencies, foreign and domestic companies, with the skills of an international analyst, consultant, adviser, head of analysis and implementation of foreign policy, foreign economic relations of the Republic of Kazakhstan with foreign states and companies.
Competencies:
- Applying the skills of socio-political analysis and forecasting of geopolitical situations for the leading world powers and the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- The ability to find solutions to strategic tasks. Taking into account the factors of the current geopolitical situation in the world;
- Forecasting the development of political situations in various regions of the world;
- The ability to analyze the main trends in the evolution of international terrorism and the nature of measures taken by the international community to combat this phenomenon;

Training of highly qualified specialists who are able to work effectively in various international organizations, governmental and non-governmental structures, as well as in the academic field. The program is aimed at forming master students’ knowledge and understanding of the historical, philosophical and theoretical foundations of international relations, as well as the development of pedagogical and research skills.

- Apply international relations theories to analyze and predict the behavior of states in specific geopolitical and economic situations.
- Utilize a professional foreign language in diplomatic negotiations and research.

Learning outcomes:
- After graduation, the graduate is able to use knowledge about the foreign policy of countries, the world diplomatic service, the world economy, international law and international security;
- Understands the essence of phenomena and processes in international relations, in various regions of the world community, in ensuring the security and sustainability of international agreements;
- He is able to apply knowledge on modern diplomatic service, foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other countries, the history of countries and regions of the organization, international law, the development of the work of diplomatic missions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in international organizations is able to apply modern methods of analyzing foreign, domestic policy, economics, trade relations of various countries, cultural differences of regions of the world, international organizations, TNCs, banks markets and other actors in international relations;
