Why do you need a doctorate degree?
The PhD provides an opportunity for self-realization in scientific and pedagogical activities, the conclusion of partnerships with foreign colleagues, the exchange of experience with scientists from leading world universities, participation in international internships for advanced training, chances to conduct research in leading scientific centers.
Doctoral studies (PhD) provide an opportunity to receive additional grants for research and advanced training in leading foreign universities.
Free learning opportunities
Since the introduction of the doctoral program in Kazakhstan, the UIB University of Practical Knowledge has been receiving grants annually to fulfill the state educational order for the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel.We form applications, then those who wish to take entrance exams to receive a state educational grant for the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel.

The schedule for accepting applications for doctoral studies
Acceptance of applications for doctoral studies in the OVPO is carried out by the admission commissions of the OVPO and (or) through the information system of the NTC in the following terms:
1) from July 3 to August 3 of the calendar year;
2) from November 5 to November 18 of the calendar year.
Entrance exams for groups of educational programs for doctoral studies are held in the following terms:
1) from 4 to 20 August of the calendar year;
2) from November 19th to December 11th of the calendar year
Admission to the doctoral program is carried out in the following terms
1) from 15 to 28 August of the calendar year;
2) from December 26 to January 10 of the calendar year.
When submitting documents, the applicant indicates one OVPO and one group of educational programs.
The list of documents required for admission to doctoral studies:
- Application (in any form);
- Document of education (original, when submitting documents to the admissions committee);
- Identification document (required for identification);
- Certificate confirming proficiency in a foreign language (certificate requirements);
- Medical certificate in the form 075/y in electronic format, approved by Order no. KR DSM-175/2020);
- Six photos measuring 3×4 centimeters;
- A personal personnel record sheet or other document confirming employment, certified by the personnel service at the place of work;
- List of scientific and methodological works (scientific publications, research plan, essays and other documents) for the last 3 calendar years;
- The results of the preliminary selection (in the field of education “Healthcare”).
