The department sees one of its main priorities in the activation of the scientific research process of teaching staff, the solution of applied socio–political tasks, the introduction of innovative technologies into the educational process, the formation of research skills and abilities among students of their specialties. The teachers of the department see their unconditional task as the education of worthy citizens of the country with good professional, business and personal qualities, as well as to assist in the employment of their graduates. The studio is designed to study the technology of television and radio broadcasting, has 30 workplaces equipped with a personal computer with a sound card, a sound mixer, a telephone hybrid, and a telephone headset. All computer stations of the studio are connected by a local local computer network and equipped with specialized programs. These programs allow you to carry out work on the installation and decoding of phonograms, prepare, enter and adjust the schedule of broadcasts, and archive audio materials. The studio is designed for conducting training sessions on the practical development of studio television shooting skills, including working with light, video cameras, and sound. The department also successfully operates a psychologist’s Office and its own Forensic training ground. On the basis of which, students of the relevant specialties have a good opportunity to consolidate their knowledge with practical exercises.
