What is it?
Convergent journalism is the most technologically advanced communication field. The technological revolution, which has affected all traditional media, forces us to look for new forms of learning and mastering new skills for industries. The program teaches the use of active forms of education that allow the formation of competencies in demand in modern society; the use of practice-oriented learning technologies; the development of the multimedia principle of organizing the media space of a modern journalist. The program provides an opportunity to gain the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to carry out professional activities in various fields of journalism. To be a professional: to be able to write, speak, take photos and take pictures, and all at a high level.

Training a specialist who will work in the digital environment in institutions of different profiles – in commercial companies, government organizations, organizations of the cultural industry, science and education, focusing on the main global trends in the development of the media, in the process of convergence and innovative practices in the field of mass media.
- Has the skills to create interactive and multimedia content.
- Owns the methodology of fact-checking (fact-checking).
- Analyzes, plans, organizes and evaluates the activities of a particular media in terms of compliance and application of digital technologies
- Understands and applies methods and tools for working with open data databases.
- Knows the basics and actively applies graphic design and layout skills.
- Uses practical skills of taking photos, videos, working in the frame, voice acting, editing.
- Uses the acquired knowledge and skills in his journalistic and social activities.
