Comprehensive testing is conducted for graduates of institutions of general secondary education (secondary) of previous years, graduates of technical and vocational (primary and secondary professional, post-secondary) education institutions, secondary school graduates who did not take part in UNT, trained through the international exchange of students abroad graduates of national music boarding schools, as well as persons who have graduated from educational institutions abroad.

Repeat testing with the purpose of enrollment in higher education is carried out on a fee basis to members of UNT and comprehensive testing, who didn’t get a  threshold score, as well as for those who did not participate in the UNT and complex testing.

Additional testing with the purpose of enrollment in higher education is carried out on a paid basis for conditionally admitted students who didn’t get a  threshold score on the results of the re-testing of the complex.

Complex testing procedure

To participate in the complex testing the applicant brings an application on a special form, a certificate of completion of secondary education (secondary) or diploma of technical and vocational (primary or secondary vocational, post-secondary) education (the original), payment check for the testing, two photographs 3 × 4, a medical certificate form 086-U, as well as a copy of an identity document.

To participate in the re-integrated testing the applicant brings an application on a special form, a document of general secondary (secondary general) or technical and vocational (primary or secondary professional, post-secondary) education (original), receipt of payment for hosting testing, two photographs 3 × 4, medical information form 086, a copy of an identity document and a certificate of UNT or complex testing (if any).

To participate in the additional complex testing provisionally enrolled student submits to the selection committee of higher education institution, an application on the prescribed form, payment check for the test.

Acceptance of applications:

Participation in complex testing is conducted by admission committees of higher education institutions from the 20 th June till the 9th  of July,
The re-testing complex – from the 1st till  8th of August,
In a further comprehensive testing for conditionally admitted students – from 5 to 12 January.
Complex testing is held from 17 to 23 July;
Re-integration testing – from 19 to 24 August;
Additional comprehensive testing for conditionally admitted students – from 20 to 24 January.
Comprehensive testing is conducted at the request of entering the Kazakh and Russian languages ​​in the volume of curricula of secondary education in four subjects: Kazakh or Russian language (language of instruction), history of Kazakhstan, mathematics and subject of choice.

Complex testing lasts for 2 hours 30 minutes.

Number of test tasks in each subject – 25. The correct answer to each test task is evaluated as one score.

Results of complex testing are announced by the state commission on the day of the meeting.

According to the results of complex testing each test participant is issued a certificate which is given by the state commission within three calendar days after the test.

Matriculation

Enrollment in the number of students is conducted by admission committees of higher education institutions from 10th to 28th August.

Persons applying for conditional admission, the selection committee of higher education institution attached to the application documents on general secondary (secondary general) or technical and vocational (primary or secondary professional, post-secondary) education (original), 2 photos 3 × 4, id card of one of the parents, the certificate re-integrated testing.

Persons who have documents on general secondary (secondary general) or technical and vocational (primary or secondary professional, post-secondary) education, and scored the threshold score on the results of re-integrated test, conditionally credited on a paid basis by students for up to completion of the first academic period for full-time education.

Persons conditionally enrolled students who have received the specified threshold score on the results of additional complex testing an application addressed to the head of the higher education institution of enrollment in higher education on a fee basis. Attached to the application of additional complex testing certificate and a copy of the transcript, signed by an authorized person and sealed.

In the case of one of the items handed over within the UNT or complex testing, less than 4 points, the person to be enrolled in the paid training or participate in the competition for awarding educational grants are not allowed.

Enrollment is conducted separately on specialties and language departments.

Admission to the specialty with creative examinations, is implemented, taking into account the scores of  these exams.

Documents submitted in a foreign language must have the notarized translation into Kazakh or Russian language.

Education documents issued by foreign institutions of education, should pass nostrification procedure in the manner prescribed by law after the admission of persons for the first semester.
